Michaela “Mick” Rodriguez is a Junior Associate Project Designer supporting the Chicagoland office at Hitchcock Design Group. She is a recent graduate of Michigan State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture and a minor in Horticulture. Mick brings a strong interest in sustainable design and a collaborative approach to a wide variety of project types including civic spaces, healthcare, education, lifecare, recreation, and real estate development. Her previous experience includes a summer internship with Mariani Landscape, where she gained hands-on experience in design development, planting design, and technical tools such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, and Lumion. She also interned with Wilson Design Associates as an AutoCAD technician. Outside of work, Mick enjoys sustainable fashion, cooking, collecting Japanese folding fans, and traveling to experience new cultures and design influences.
