Jack Schilens is a Project Designer in Hitchcock Design Group’s South Florida office. He is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University, where he earned his degree in Landscape Architecture and served as the Social Chair for the OSU student chapter of ASLA. Jack’s professional background includes internships with SurfaceWorks Design, focusing on installation and maintenance; Mark Ruby Architecture, working in AutoCAD; and Schilens & Associates—his family’s landscape architecture firm—where he analyzed erosion damage along Lake Erie and its river systems. Most recently, he completed a co-op with Spackman Mossop Michaels in New Orleans, contributing to climate-resilient design projects in disadvantaged and disaster-prone communities across the South and Southwest.
