Halsted Point

This high profile, highly visible redevelopment project in the heart of a burgeoning district in Chicago will become one of the premier live, work, play environments in the city. Surrounded by water on two sides, the development is well situated to be an icon. Striking plaza spaces, spacious lawns, and naturalized wetlands along with a highly stylized section of the Chicago Riverwalk will set the stage for this once in a lifetime opportunity to change the face of this portion of the city. Hitchcock Design Group collaborated with our architectural partners to conceptually land plan the site, situating multiple high-rise towers across the site to maximize views, consciously avoid casting shadows over the Riverwalk, and balancing the needs of access for residents, employees, shoppers, and the public who can enjoy every aspect of the open spaces we created. In addition, HDG prepared the Riverwalk and open space conceptual designs across the entire eight acres, capturing the essence of the city in the context of the neighborhood.
