Countryside City Hall and Police Department

The City of Countryside desired to create a welcoming civic community space at their new City Hall and Police Department facility. Working closely with the architect and civil engineer, Hitchcock Design Group was responsible for the site landscape design including design of the pedestrian plaza spaces and signage. HDG developed an inviting landscape, including a public entry plaza that can be used for community events. The design and materials complement the prairie style building architecture and include flexible furnishings and amenities. Along with other sustainable design components, this project includes a green roof and rooftop gathering space. The City is pursuing LEED Gold certification for the project.
