Mirandi is a Purdue alumna who discovered landscape architecture almost by accident, thanks to a high school agriculture teacher who encouraged her to try a new landscape design class. She quickly realized the profession offered the perfect balance of creativity and technical precision, which has guided her career ever since. Before joining HDG, Mirandi gained six years of experience in high-end residential landscape design in Lake Forest, Illinois. Since then, she has embraced the opportunity to shape larger community spaces as part of HDG’s Chicagoland recreation-focused team. One of her favorite projects to date is Lakewood Meadows Park for the Crystal Lake Park District, where she helped transform a former farmstead into a new destination park for the surrounding community. Known for her pragmatic design style, Mirandi’s strengths include CAD drafting, she especially enjoys turning early concepts into buildable plans, and keeping complex projects organized and moving forward through close coordination with staff and consultants. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, watching true crime shows, and quilting (more creativity and precision, seems to be a... pattern).
